So we got our rental car and headed off to Leadville, and Copper Mountain(where we were going to stay)....

Along the way we saw fileds of Bison(Buffalo to the uninitiated), we alos went through a snow storm, yes there was actually am accumulation of snow on the road.......john was to chicken to get out an shoot a picture of it "I might get frost bite or something....." he complained. What a wuss!

We stopped at the race HQ and hung out with MariLee and Ken.
