6722 over Edwards AFB, CA

6722 earlier in it's career configured as a U-2D with rotating optical sensors and communication fairing on top of the Q bay in support of MIDAS(MIssile Defense Alarm System).

It was to be used to detect Russian ICBM missile launches against the US, but was tested against US missile launches.
